Blizz are doing the same thing as Anet, making the game alot eaiser
in past and the next patch changes like this have happened:

Leveling from 20-60 requires less experiance and an increase in quest rewards are given

Lowering the mount lv. required from 40 to 30

And introduced Around 18 daily quests that maybe take around 1 to 2 hours to complete giving around 200g a day, which really is alot.

They are also making the newest 5 man dungeon easier (after it was released 2 or 3 months ago, was on a break then)

I liked war3 but more for the mods then the game, and i know i just mentioned WoW but thats the main one i have exp. with

On topic:
Yeah proberly will buy it, will i play it much? depends on how good it is.

I look back on it the game before I was banned and remember all the good times I had just finishing the game.

Avarre : Added a poll.
Lol you got banned from GW and now you are banned from this forum? lol That's two two two kicks in one hahah.

But, anyways as far as buying GW2 yeah I'm pretty sure I will buy it since it's going to be more like WOW and less like skill>time which got boring pretty fast. I like continous neverending goals in my online games and even the offline ones like "Daggerfall" and "Oblivion" are great...only bad one was Morrowboring out of the series, the combat was too simple and wasn't fun to use.

People who complain about games complain because they like the game, and something changed/there's something that they don't like. Complaining has nothing to do with addiction.

Yes of course I will. I have had to much fun with GW not to purchase the sequel. All the Elite people who do nothing but complain on the forums all day about how ANET sucks and does not care is in no way going to influence my decision to buy GW2. I'm going to Pre-order as soon as it is available. An Open Beta would be sweet and ill be there if that ever happens.

Maybe, with a strong likelyhood of turning into no, based upon what little info is out there right now. I need more concrete info, and it needs to be compelling. Very compelling.

If it's a good game, I'll get it. If not, then I won't. Simple as that.

That is only those on The Guru though out of how many are registered compared to how many who have voted.I would say the majority have moved on and possibly gave up on this game.

If the majority of whiners here on Guru have quit and moved on that in it self will be an improvement, making GW2 worth buying.

Get it now?

If GW2 has assassins and paragons, the world PvP doesn't get labeled as mass-ganking and the the "8 skills each, 8 party members, instanced" doesn't get overhauled too bad then I'm sure I'll buy it the moment it gets released (meh, even pre-order it)

If it doesn't I'll wait a week, check the GWII guru forums then decide if it is worth it or not.

Assuming that Gw2 will be a dedicated pve game, or in other words: A copy of WoW for people that can't afford it, I won't buy Gw2.
I hope for you guys that Anet will learn from their poor management of Gw1 and Gw2 will be as great as gw1 was.

I voted maybe, but at the moment I'm leaning towards no.
I will play the beta weekends (if it has any) and make my final decision based on what I see there.

Considering how much GW has changed since release, my faith in ANet is not strong.

What you say is true, only... it's something completely different from what ANet did.
With these changes, Blizzard is making the game faster for people starting now to get on par with the veterans. Heck, I started with patch 2.3 and I loved the exp boost -- it allowed me to play very casually while still feeling a sense of progression. They're slightly adjusting the game to the income of new players, while still keeping the veterans busy with more grind.
On the other hand, ANet made the game dumber. Compared to Prophecies days, the endgame is actually plays "slower" and the game feels more bland; the result is that veterans feel bored and screwed over, and newbies get bored quickly and don't get the chance to experience the same fun we did.

One of the things I didn't like about WoW 2.3 is how they removed most of the unnamed elites in the game world: it was done to aid solo play, but I think it removed some of the challenge and chances to group together (although this gets normally harder at lower levels as the game gets older). That aside, IMHO what Blizzard and ANet did were probably both for similar purposes, but applying two entirely different approaches.
